Verallia: raises 2021 adjusted EBITDA target

(CercleFinance.com) - Glass packaging group Verallia estimates that its 2021 adjusted EBITDA, expected to be up sharply on the previous year, should reach around 675 million euros (compared to 650 million euros initially anticipated in February).


Subject to the absence of new widespread lockdowns or restrictions, the business' sound performance in H1 2021 should enable it to post sales of around 2.6 billion euros, returning to 2019 levels in terms of sales volumes in 2021.

In H1, the group posted net income of 133 million euros, up 68% from 79 million euros a year earlier, with adjusted EBITDA that is up 15.4% at 345 million euros on sales that are up 4.2% at 1.33 billion euros (+7.7% in organic terms).
