Rubis: Q1 sales up 49%

(CercleFinance.com) - Rubis has reported Q1 2022 sales of 1473 million euros for Q1 2022, up 49% y-o-y.


The company highlighted its record volumes, up from pre-Covid levels.

Distribution (up 49% to E1,275m, or 87% of consolidated sales) grew in the Caribbean (+61%), Africa (+47%) and Europe (+31%). The Support & Services activity (E198m, or 13% of sales) grew by 48%.

Although still impacted by the pandemic, overall business is benefiting from the recovery of tourism in the Caribbean region, specific growth reservoirs (LPG fuel) in Europe and a sound commercial momentum in the network of stations in East Africa, it summarised.
