Rubis: H1 sales flat

(CercleFinance.com) - Industrial storage company Rubis last night published H1 2021 sales of 2 billion euros, in line - to the nearest million euros - with H1 2020 sales.


Underlying operating income came in at 188 million euros, up 10% y-o-y, while net income, group share reached 136 million euros, down 2% y-o-y.

While at the start of the year Rubis anticipated an easing of Covid-related restrictions in the second half of the year, it finally appears that the effects of the pandemic will drag on.

However, Rubis Energie is (distribution, support and services) is expected to remain dynamic, enabling the company to report growth in operating profit over the year, it said.
