CGG: three imaging contracts for Houston centre

(CercleFinance.com) - CGG today announces the award of three major seismic imaging contracts by British oil group BP, including two in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico and one offshore Trinidad and Tobago.


The geoscience group said that these projects will begin in the first and second quarters of this year and will finish with delivery of data to the cloud by the fourth quarter of 2021.

Its experts will apply their latest proprietary Time-Lag FWI and least-squares migration algorithms to deliver high-quality images for reserve renewal and development decisions on schedule.
