CGG: heavy net loss in Q4

(CercleFinance.com) - CGG has reported a net loss of 100 million dollars for the last quarter of 2020, compared with a profit of 26 million dollars a year ago, for segment revenue of 283 million dollars, down 29% y-o-y.


For FY 2020, the geosciences group posted a net loss of 438 million dollars, segment EBITDAs of 361 million dollars and segment revenue of 955 million dollars, down 32%.

For 2021, CGG estimates that it will post mid single-digit annual growth rate in revenues, stable segment EBITDA and a return to positive net cash flow generation.
