CGG: multi-year contract in Abu Dhabi

(CercleFinance.com) - CGG announces that Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has awarded it a landmark processing contract for the historic treatment for its geoscience processing/imaging business in the United Arab Emirates.


Under the terms of this contract, it will perform high-end time and depth imaging of massive volumes of very high-spec data from what is believed to be the world's largest ocean-bottom node (OBN) seismic survey to date.

From May 2019 - and for a period of at least five years, for a maximum of seven years, CGG will process a minimum 20,000 sq km of high-density wide-azimuth OBN seismic data at its Abu Dhabi geoscience center.
