Europcar Mobility: 2020 loss exceeds E600m

(CercleFinance.com) - Europcar Mobility Group has reported a net loss of 645 million euros for 2020, against a profit of 30 million euros in 2019, with an adjusted Corporate EBITDA of -172 million euros (compared to +389 million euros in 2019).


On a reported basis, the mobility services group's total revenue fell 42% to 1.76 billion euros and was down 45% like-for-like (on a pro-forma basis), due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Despite a cautious view regarding H1 2021, considering visibility that remains limited, the group anticipates growth in revenues over FY 2021, based on the key activities, i.e. Vans & Trucks, professional customers and proximity customers.
