Spie: contract renewed in Hamburg
(CercleFinance.com) - French engineering group Spie announced on Thursday that it had renewed a contract for the management of facilities in Hamburg for three years, without specifying the terms of the agreement.
The energy and communications services specialist said its German subsidiary Spie Deutschland & Zentraleuropa had once again won the public tender to manage a building, housing, amongst other things, the town hall of the Hamburg-Mitte district.
The building - with a gross floor area of approximately 90,000m2 - also houses the Senate Chancellery and the offices of the Jet oil downstream group and the Stadtküche catering group.
The agreement includes the maintenance, inspection and repair of interior ventilation, air conditioning, lifts, doors, sprinklers, electricity, heating and fittings, as well as instrumentation and control technology.
This year, Spie will also convert the area allocated to the Hamburg-Mitte district council and other parts of the building to LED lighting.
