Spie: contract in Germany
(CercleFinance.com) - The French engineering group Spie announced on Thursday that it had been awarded the turnkey installation of a transformer station for TransnetBW, an electricity transmission network operator.
This new 380/110 kV infrastructure is intended to stabilise the power supply to the municipality of Kehl, a town close to Strasbourg.
It is one of six stations to be modernised, expanded or newly built as part of a major program to increase the transmission capacity of the network in the state of Baden-Württemberg along the Rhine.
Construction is scheduled to begin in January 2022, with commissioning planned in the first quarter of 2024.
Spie shares are currently down slightly (-0.3%) in Paris.
