Spie: builds a utilities centre in the Netherlands

(CercleFinance.com) - Spie announces the construction of a new modern utilities centre that will fully meet the energy needs (steam and air) of the Albemarle plant, which is its first contract in the Netherlands that offers "Steam as a Service".


The centre will be equipped with three steam boilers and a compressed air system, which will supply dry, clean compressed air by means of compressors. Spie can therefore guarantee enough steam and air to supply the entire plant over the next 10 years.

Together, its subsidiaries Spie Nederland and Spie Energy Solutions GmbH are responsible for setting up, maintaining and managing the new facility, which will be supervised 24/7 in the control room by dedicated staff.
