Elis: takes over Curantex in Germany

(CercleFinance.com) - Elis announces signing an agreement to acquire Curantex in Germany.
The finalisation of this deal is subject to standard regulatory conditions and is expected to occur at the beginning of 2019.

Curantex's plant, located in Erkelenz, North Rhine-Westphalia, serves clients in the healthcare market, i.e. hospitals and nursing homes (flat linen, work clothes and residents' clothing).

As a family-owned group, in 2017 Curantex generated sales of approximately 14 million euros. Its acquisition will optimise Elis' factories in western Germany, where Elis already manages five flat linen and two clothing plants.
