Voltalia: sells wind project in Brazil

(CercleFinance.com) - Voltalia has announced the sale of a 28 megawatt ready-to-build wind power project to the Japanese construction firm TODA.
It is located within its giant Serra Branca complex in Brazil.

Construction of the new wind farm is scheduled to begin this year, with commercial operation expected to start in July 2021. This date will mark the beginning of an eight-year service contract for the operation and maintenance of the electrical infrastructure by Voltalia.

The French group will also be in charge of the supervision of the wind farm, including the analysis of the turbines' performance, as well as its administrative management. This broad spectrum of services therefore covers technical and administrative services.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
