Neoen: inauguration of wind farm in Vosges

(CercleFinance.com) - Neoen has announced the inauguration of the Pays entre Madon et Moselle wind farm, which is its largest wind farm in France, with a capacity of 39.
6 MW. It is due to be commissioned at the beginning of June, after the final tests are completed.

Located in the Vosges department, the wind farm is equipped with 18 Vestas V110 wind turbines with a unit capacity of 2.2 MW. All the electricity produced is covered by a contract with EDF Obligation d'Achat for a period of 20 years.

The park will produce nearly 95 GWh of green electricity per year, equivalent to the electricity consumption of 37,400 inhabitants, including heating. This electricity production will avoid the emission of nearly 28,500 tonnes of CO2 per year.
