Fnac Darty: 2020 net income reaches E96m

(CercleFinance.com) - Multimedia and cultural product retailer Fnac Darty's 2020 revenues amounted to 7,491 million euros, up 0.
6% like-for-like.
Its gross margin reached 29.2% over the year, down 120 basis points from 2019.

Underlying operating income came in at 215 million euros in 2020, down 78 million euros (-26.% y-o-y). Net income, group share from continuing operations reached 96 million euros, against 115 million euros in 2019.

Fnac Darty continued to generate strong free cash flow from operations at 192 million euros in 2020, up 19 million euros compared to 2019.

The group remains cautious and confirms, for 2021, a slight growth in revenues and underlying operating income compared to 2020.
