Fnac Darty: targets slight sales growth in 2020

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday evening Fnac Darty Group reported 2019 sales of 7.
349 billion euros, up 3% as reported and up 0.7% like-for-like.

Christmas sales were hit by about 70 million euros, due to social unrest in France.

Its underlying operating profit reached 292 million euros, down 3.6%. Meanwhile, net income from continuing operations fell by 44 million euros to 114 million euros.

The Group targets a slight growth in sales and current operating income in 2020 and confirms its medium-term objectives of achieving revenue growth higher than its markets and a current operating margin between 4.5% and 5%," it said regarding its outlook.
