Technicolor: adjusted Ebitda down 7.5% in 2019

(CercleFinance.com) - For 2019 Image technology expert Technicolor has announced adjusted EBITDA that is down 7.
5% at 246 million euros, with adjusted EBITA that is down 63.6% at 36 million euros (data excluding IFRD 16).

Revenues fell 4.7% to 3.8 billion euros, with double-digit growth in production services that was more than offset by the decline in the video market in North America in smart homes and the anticipated fall in volumes in DVD services.

For 2020, Technicolor expects adjusted EBITDA to be in line with its level in 2019, with an adjusted EBITA of about 70 million euros after IFRS 16 (approximately 65 million euros before IFRS 16), i.e. a significant improvement from 2019.
