Coface: raises financial targets

(CercleFinance.com) - Coface has announced the launch of its strategic plan through to 2023.
Entitled "Build to Lead" it extends and deepens the transformation that began under "Fit to Win" and has increased all its financial targets throughout its cycle.

Under the plan, the credit insurer aims for a combined ratio of around 80% over the cycle, representing a three-point improvement from "Fit to Win". It targets a cyclical average RoATE of 9.5%, a target that takes into account the expected decline in the performance of its financial portfolio.

Coface also expects an earnings distribution rate that is at least equal to 80%, i.e. a 20-point improvement from Fit to Win, for a solvency ratio in a new target range of 155% to 175%.
