Getlink: new all-time record for shuttle freight

(CercleFinance.com) - Getlink's passenger shuttle traffic transported 159,469 passenger cars in February 2019, down 3% y-o-y, a fall that the group said is largely related to the yellow vest demonstrations in France.
Since 1 January, 314,497 passenger cars have crossed the English Channel using Le Shuttle.

Meanwhile, Shuttle Freight traffic reached a new record for February, with 141,109 trucks transported, up 6% relative to February 2018. Since 1 January, a total of 287,069 trucks have used the shuttle to cross the Channel.

Since 1 January, passenger shuttle traffic has fallen slightly, with 1,470,454 vehicles transported (-3%), while Shuttle Freight has transported almost 960,000 trucks.
