Getlink: historic record for truck traffic in October

(CercleFinance.com) - Getlink has announced an historic record for Shuttle Freight in October, with 152,129 trucks transported, up 7% y-o-y, while Passenger Shuttles had their best month of October since 2002, with 204,049 vehicles transported (+3%).


Since 1 January, over 1.4 million trucks have crossed the English Channel with Le Shuttle Freight, and over 2.3 million passenger cars have crossed onboard Shuttles, which represents respective increases of 3% and 2% relative to the first 10 months of 2017.
