Getlink: record month of July for shuttle freight

(CercleFinance.com) - Getlink has announced that its Shuttle Freight recorded the best month of July in its history, with 144,990 trucks transported (+6% y-o-y), which is the third best monthly traffic in its history, after March 2018 and March 2017.


Passenger shuttle traffic rose by 3% relative to July 2017, with 314,955 vehicles transported, which is the second best month of July since the end of Duty Free in 1999, after the record July 2016.

Since 1 January, almost one million trucks have crossed the English Channel with Shuttle Freight, and over 1.5 million passenger cars have crossed onboard shuttles, with respective growth of 3% and 2% relative to the first seven months of 2017.
