Scor: gross premiums up 15.8% at 7.1 billion euros

1 billion euros at Scor Global P&C in FY 2019, up 15.8% at constant exchange rates, with growth of 16.2% in Reinsurance and 14, 4% in Specialty insurance.

At January renewals, Scor has improved the expected technical profitability of its reinsurance portfolio by about one point, reflecting a 2.8% increase in pricing.

At its specialty insurance business, more favourable market trends enabled Scor Global P&C to pass on price increases of close to 15% in 2019.

The company said, "Given the growth rates of the business in 2019 and at January 1, 2020, SCOR Global P&C reiterates its strategic plan assumption of Gross Written Premiums annual growth comprised between 4% and 8% across "Quantum Leap."
