Korian: acquires 6 retirement homes in Spain

(CercleFinance.com) - Late on Wednesday Korian Group announced the acquisition of a portfolio of six retirement homes in the Balearic Islands, from Grupo 5.


"These 6 additional facilities, located on the island of Mallorca care for nearly 700 residents (private and concerted beds) and 130 day centre visitors. ISO 9001 certified, they meet Korian's quality standards both in terms of comfort and care. All the centres are operating under land concession agreements of 27 years on average, linked with secured concerted bed agreements of the same duration," the group said.

Thanks to this new acquisition, the Korian Group now has 15 establishments in Spain with 2,160 beds, generating revenue of around 34 million euros.
