Arkema: completes divestment of functional polyolefins

(CercleFinance.com) - Arkema announces that it completed the divestment of its functional polyolefins business, which is in line with its refocusing strategy, on 1 June, based on an enterprise value of 335 million euros.


With sales of around 250 million euros, the divested business comprises ethylene copolymers and terpolymers for the food packaging, cable, electronics and coatings markets.

This business, which employs around 100 people in France and has an international sales network of around 30 people, thus joins SK Global Chemical, a subsidiary of the South Korean SK group.
