Legrand: new CSR-indexed bond issue

(CercleFinance.com) - Legrand says that it has completed a second issue of sustainability bonds indexed to its CSR commitments, totalling E700m, at a fixed rate, with a maturity of six years and an annual coupon of 3.
5%.

In addition to its 2030 carbon trajectory targets validated by the SBTi, the group is extending its system to include the proportion of management positions held by women, as well as a commitment in terms of the carbon trajectory of its suppliers.

The electrical equipment supplier says that the success of this issue, which was heavily subscribed to, once again reflects investors' confidence in the soundness of Legrand's profitable and responsible development model.
