Ipsen: strategic partnersip with Marengo

(CercleFinance.com) - Ipsen and Marengo Therapeutics have announced a strategic partnership to develop two precision immuno-oncology drug candidates based on Marengo's STAR platform.


Marengo will conduct preclinical development and bear the associated costs until the drugs are filed with the US Food and Drug Administration, while Ipsen will conduct clinical development and commercialization.

Ipsen will make an initial payment of 45 million dollars, with subsequent payments of up to 1.59 billion dollars, if all milestones are met, in addition to tiered royalty payments on sales.
