EDF: three wind projects won in Quebec
(CercleFinance.com) - EDF announced on Friday that Hydro-Quebec had selected three of its wind projects in the framework of two calls for tenders that were launched in 2021.
The company said that EDF Renewables North America was selected for 570 megawatts (MW) of wind power purchase contracts. The subsidiary has won the lion's share of this government contract, winning three of the seven wind projects, representing almost 50% of the total wind capacity awarded.
