EDF: Barclays maintains 'overweight' rating

(CercleFinance.com) - Barclays reiterates its "overweight" rating on EDF shares, with a target price of 11.
1 euros, suggesting upside potential of 29.1%.

EDF reported Q1 sales of 35.6 billion euros, up 62% y-o-y, driven by higher electricity and gas prices.

The analyst believes that the stock could also outperform the European utilities sector, with 2022 EBITDA expected to come in at -200 million euros, while the market was not expecting any improvement at this stage.
