EDF: 2019 underlying net income up 58%
(CercleFinance.com) - EDF has published 2019 underlying net income of 3,871 million euros, up 57.
9% compared to 2018, with 8.4% organic growth in EBITDA at 16,708 million euros, for revenues that are up 3.5% in organic terms at 71,317 million euros.
EBITDA benefited from better pricing conditions in France and the UK and a strong performance from EDF Renouvelables, although was penalised by a decline in nuclear production in France and the UK, and by poor hydraulicity in France.
EDF's board of directors has decided to propose a dividend of 0.48 euro per share for 2019, i.e. a balance to be paid - taking into account the interim dividend that has already been paid - 0.33 euro for ordinary dividend shares and 0.38 euro for those with a higher dividend.
