EDF: 40.7 million shares issued for dividend payment

(CercleFinance.com) - EDF announces that 93.
71% of rights were exercised in favour of a dividend payment in shares for FY 2018, at the end of the option period, which was open from 24 May to 10 June inclusive.

This transaction results in the creation of 40,701,950 new shares, which after the capital increase represent approximately 1.33% of the group's capital, at an issue price of 11.10 euros, which will be delivered and admitted to trading on Euronext Paris from 18 June.

The amount of the cash dividend to be paid to shareholders who have not opted for the payment of the balance of the stock dividend for 2018 amounts to approximately 30,554 million euros, which will be paid from 18 June.
