EDF: Q1 sales up 2.5%

(CercleFinance.com) - EDF has posted Q1 2019 sales of almost 21 billion euros, up 2.
5% as reported, with organic growth of 1.7% compared with Q1 2018.

This growth is mainly driven by the segment France - production and marketing activities, thanks to favourable market conditions, growth of the group's energy services and the sound performance of EDF Trading.

The electricity group has confirmed its targets for 2019 (including IFRS 16), including EBITDA of between 16 billion and 16.7 billion euros, and its aims for 2019-2020, including a net financial debt/EBITDA ratio of up to 2.7x.
