EDF: successful hybrid bond issue

(CercleFinance.com) - EDF has announced a successful refinancing of its hybrid bonds.


This concerns the issue of super-subordinate bonds that have an indefinite term amounting to 1.25 billion euros, with a coupon of 4% and a refund option at the company's discretion in 2024 and a contractual redemption offer in cash having covered four existing hybrid bond issues.

At the closing of the redemption offer, EDF will redeem, in cash, the securities validly tendered to the redemption offer for the first two issues of hybrid securities for a total of 1.25 billion euros.
