Eutelsat: multiannual agreement with Orby TV

(CercleFinance.com) - Eutelsat Americas, a subsidiary of Eutelsat Communications, announces that it has been selected by Orby TV, a non-subscription satellite television service provider in the United States, for capacity available on the Eutelsat 117 West A satellite.


The signing of a multi-year multi-repeater agreement between both companies was announced at the IBC 2019 trade fair following the recent launch by Orby TV of its new low-cost satellite television package for US homes.

"This groundbreaking deal showcases the important role satellite continues to play in TV distribution, even in well-established markets," said Mike Antonovich, CEO of Eutelsat Americas.
