Eutelsat: multi-year contract in Burkina Faso.

(CercleFinance.com) - At the Discop Abidjan forum Eutelsat Communications has formalised the signing of a multi-year contract with the Burkina Faso Broadcasting Corporation (SBT), a public broadcasting operator of DTT in Burkina Faso.


The capacity leased on the Eutelsat 3B satellite has been used for some weeks to supply 35 terrestrial digital transmitters deployed to link all of Burkina Faso. The satellite signal includes about 20 television channels.

SBT, in partnership with RTB, the State public channel, has also leased satellite capacities on Europe and Africa via the Eutelsat 9B and Eutelsat 16A satellites to ensure the public service's broadcasting.
