Alstom: successful euro bond issue

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom announces that on 8 October it completed an unsecured euro bond issue for a total of 700 million euros, with exellent financial conditions.

The order book was oversubscribed to more than three times by investors.

The bonds will mature in seven years and will bear a fixed interest rate of 0.25%, payable annually. Settlement will take place on 14 October and the bonds will be admitted to trading on Euronext Paris.

The proceeds of the bond issue will be the used to meet Alstom's general needs, including the refinancing of a bond debt of 596 million euros that will mature in March 2020.
