Alstom: new contract for Mumbai Metro

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom announces that it has been selected by Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) to supply Urbalis 400, its latest generation of CBTC signalling technology, Mumbai metro's line 3, a contract that is worth over 100 million euros.


The contract includes automatic control systems (UTO), automated interlocking and centralised control of trains, landing doors, as well as the monitoring and acquisition of electrical and mechanical data (E&M SCADA).

The railway supplier also says that earlier this year it won two contracts for power supply and the supply of 248 metro wagons for line 3 of the Mumbai metro.
