Bureau Veritas: H1 net income up 16%

(CercleFinance.com) - Bureau Veritas has announced adjusted net profit of 248.
6 million euros (0.55 euro per share) for the first half of 2022, up 15.8%, with adjusted operating profit of 410.9 million euros, up 8.7%, giving a margin of 15.3%.

Despite the lockdowns in China in Q2, the inspection and certification group's H1 revenue grew by 11.4% to 2.69 billion euros, with 6.5% growth on an organic basis (of which 5.2% in Q2).

Based on a strong sales pipeline, Bureau Veritas still expects to achieve moderate single-digit organic revenue growth in 2022, while improving its adjusted operating margin.
