Akka: E200m capital increase and director quits

(CercleFinance.com) - Akka has announced that at its meeting, its Board of Directors has approved a capital increase for a gross amount of 200 million euros.


In this capital increase, Swilux S.A., an investment company wholly owned and controlled by Compagnie Nationale à Portefeuille (CNP) subscribed to 150 million euros, while the Ricci family group subscribed to the remaining 50 million euros, at a subscription price of 22.50 euros per share, including the issue premium.

Following this deal, Compagnie Nationale à Portefeuille holds 21.4% of the capital and 17.0% of the voting rights of Akka Technologies. The Ricci family group holds 38.9% of the capital and 51.3% of the voting rights.

In addition, Akka has announced that Guy Lacroix has resigned from his position as a company director and that Xavier Le Clef, CEO of CNP S.A. has been co-opted by the Board of Directors as a Director for the remainder of Guy Lacroix's term of office, i.e. until its AGM in 2021.
