iliad: extends partnership with Cellnex

(CercleFinance.com) - iliad today announces that it has extended its industrial partnership with Cellnex, through the sale to the latter of 60% of the company managing passive mobile telecommunications infrastructures in Poland.


The amount received by iliad for this transaction, in line with the agreement reached with Cellnex announced on 23 October, amounts to approximately 0.8 billion euros before tax.

Its subsidiary Play is therefore strengthening its investment capacities to enter a new development cycle with 5G frequencies, the densification of its mobile network to help the growth of uses, and a desire to enter the landline market.
