Iliad: E1.3bn bond issue

(CercleFinance.com) - Iliad announces that it has successfully placed av1,300 million euro double-tranche bond issue, the largest bond issue for an unrated issuer since Iliad's previous double tranche issue in April 2018.


The issue consists of a 600 million euro tranche (maturing on 11 February 2024), with an annual coupon of 0.750% and a 700 million euro tranche (maturing on 11 February 2028) with an annual coupon of 1.875%.

This issue, which was oversubscribed to about three times (total demand of around 3.9 billion euros), enables the group to take advantage of market conditions to conclude the refinancing of the acquisition of Polish telecoms operator Play, while strengthening its financial structure.
