Orange: slump in net income on base effect.

(CercleFinance.com) - Orange publishes a group share of net income of 682 million euros for the first half of 2017 against 3,168 billion the previous year.
This slump is primarily attributable to the effect of the sale of EE in January 2016.

The telecoms group's adjusted EBITDA is 5.978 billion euros, up +2.2% for revenues of 20.276 billion, up +1.1%, compared to +0.9% in the second half of 2016.

Orange confirms adjusted EBITDA for the 2017 financial year is higher than that of 2016 on a like-for-like basis, led by the strong commercial drive to support investments and the pursuit of efforts to transform the cost structure.
