Renault: 5.9% drop in global sales in 2022

(CercleFinance.com) - Renault has announced global sales figures for 2022, which reached 2,051,174 vehicles, down 5.
9%.

The share of sales to private individuals will represent 67% in the five main European countries (France, Germany, Spain, Italy and the UK), up 8.7 points compared to 2021.

In Europe, Renault becomes the third largest brand in the electrified market (passenger car market) with 12% growth compared with 2021 and the third largest brand in the 100% electric segment.

Renault's sales in the C segment are also up 21% on 2021, with the success of Arkana with 80,000 sales and Mégane E-Tech electric with 33,000 sales.

Dacia recorded 573,800 sales in 2022, i.e. 6.8% growth compared to 2021.
