Renault: Berenberg maintains buy rating, with TP of E36

(CercleFinance.com) - Berenberg renewed its buy rating on Renault shares on Monday, with a target price of 36 euros (current price: 33 euros, +1%), following the announcements made at its CMD at the beginning of November.


The broker is particularly interested in the carmaker's decision to reorganise itself into five independent entities, each with its own financing and partnerships.

In short, this project should help Renault to benefit from the essential agility in today's rapidly changing environment, while guaranteeing a leaner model in terms of assets, analysts point out.

That said, the increasing number of layers that characterise the company's structure makes the governance of the group more difficult, however.
