Renault: back to black in H1

(CercleFinance.com) - Renault Group has reported net income, group share, of 354 million euros for the first six months of 2021, compared with a loss of 7.
29 billion euros a year ago, with an operating margin of 2.8%, compared with -6.5% in the same period of 2020.

The carmaker's sales reached almost 23.4 billion euros, up 26.8% compared to H1 2020. LFL growth was 31.8% for global sales up by 18.7%.

In spite of uncertainties weighing on demand, the continuing negative effects stemming from the components crisis and the rise in raw material prices, Renault Group is targeting a FY operating margin that is similar to its level in H1.
