Renault: Q3 sales down 1.6%

(CercleFinance.com) - Renault reports Q3 2019 sales of 11,296 million euros, down 1.
6% (-1.4% at constant currency and consolidation scope), while the group continued to increase prices over the period.

The car maker sold 852,198 vehicles in the quarter, down 4.4%, underperforming a global market that was down 3.2%. Excluding Iran, the decline would have been 1.8% in a market down 2.3%.

Renault estimates that its FY 2019 sales will be down by 3% to 4%, and that its operating margin will be around 5%. Operating free cash flow of its automobile division should be positive in the second half, although the group does not guarantee that it will be over the full-year.
