Eramet: Q3 sales up 8%

(CercleFinance.com) - Eramet posted Q3 2018 revenue of 951 million euros, up 8%, in a context of rising prices (+11% for manganese ore; +26% for nickel) and buoyant markets for mineralised sands.


While its sales volumes are generally down, the mining and metallurgical group boasts record 1.2 million tonnes of manganese ore production, confirming its target of setting a new annual record in 2018.

Judging that its markets remain upbeat for mining activities, Eramet has said that it expects " EBITDA forecast for 2018 approximately on par with 2017, assuming current market conditions are maintained."
