BNP Paribas: BlackRock increases stake

(CercleFinance.com) - BlackRock, acting on behalf of its clients and funds under its management, has informed the AMF that on 6 June it raised its stake in BNP Paribas to above the thresholds of 5% of its capital and voting rights and that, on behalf of the said clients and funds, it now holds 63,271,584 BNP Paribas shares, representing the same number of voting rights, i.
e. 5.06% of the group's capital and voting rights.

The crossing of these thresholds results from OTC purchases of BNP Paribas shares and a receipt of BNP Paribas shares held as collateral.
