Société Générale: takes majority stake in PayXpert

(CercleFinance.com) - Société Générale has announced signing an agreement to acquire a majority stake in the fintech PayXpert.


This acquisition will enable the bank to enhance its offer to merchants and e-merchants, aiming to become a reference player in the field of payment acceptance in Europe, it said.

PayXpert, a fintech specialising in payment services, offers merchants and e-retailers secure solutions for accepting payments from their customers in-store or remotely, regardless of the payment method (bank cards, mobile applications, QR codes, etc.).
