Société Générale: develops offer against cyber-risks

(CercleFinance.com) - Société Générale has announced the launch of a new range of products and services aimed at corporate clients and associations, focusing on three areas: advice, technology and insurance, in order to combat cyber attacks.


The digital transformation of the economy, the health context and remote working methods have accelerated attacks, which have more than quadrupled over the last two years, the bank says, pointing out that 91% of French organisations have been the target of at least one cyber attack in the last twelve months.

In consulting, Société Générale will offer its services and conferences on cybersecurity, as well as training for employees, the main lines of defence for companies.

The bank has also announced that it has partnered with the fintech Trustpair, which specialises in the control of payment data and the fight against transfer fraud, in order to be able to offer financial departments an automated security solution for financial flows.

Finally, in order to cover major cyber risks, the bank is offering dedicated cyber risk insurance.

The share is up over 1.5% on Wednesday afternoon.
