Société Générale: successful test of blockchain technology

(CercleFinance.com) - Société Générale Securities Services (SGSS) and the asset management company OFI Asset Management (OFI AM) announced on Thursday that they have published the first proof of concept ("proof of concept") results through the IZNES platform, based on the blockchain of the SETL startup.


Several investor orders for the subscription and redemption of units in the OFI AM managed funds, for which SGSS is the custodian, were executed using the blockchain deployed by SETL within the IZNES platform.

These orders were then registered via SGSS with the ESES central depositary - Euroclear France.
