Dassault Systèmes: Invest Securities adjusts target price

(CercleFinance.com) - Invest Securities maintains its "neutral" rating on the shares of software publisher Dassault Systèmes, although has increased its target price for them from 35 euros to 38 euros, judging that the group's Q4 2022 results and 2023 guidance may simply be deemed reassuring.


Analysts say that the absence of changes in the cloud/subscription strategy and the effort to be transparent remove a factor of uncertainty in the near term, even though investors may question whether this position will be maintained in the medium term in view of developments in the market and the group's competitors.

The broker adds that after two particularly strong financial years in 2021-22, 2023 should see a virtual stagnation in results, unless a deleveraging process leads to a major acquisition.
